Growing up, I aspired to one of three professions: jockey, veterinarian or artist. However, instead of pursuing any of these dreams I opted for a career which I perceived as more practical.  After fifteen years in the engineering field, I decided to explore some other outlets and to finally fulfill a few of these childhood dreams.

Now as an illustrator whose work has been shown regionally and nationally, I've had the great pleasure to teach a wide variety of illustration courses as an adjunct and term professor at Kendall College of Art & Design.  I also had the opportunity to work as as a veterinary assistant prior to my return to college and continued this interesting and challenging vocation throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies.  My husband and I also own a small farm on which I drive ponies in my spare time.

My dreams have (in their own way) been fulfilled and my life continues to be an incredible learning adventure.
